On a running note, I got into two races by lottery for 2012! Way Too Cool 50K and the star-studded Miwok 100K! It'll be my first 100K race! I am super excited about it! I'd also like to run the Skyline 50K, the Dick Collins Firetrails 50, Quad Dipsea, and if all goes well maybe even take another shot at the Rio Del Lago 100 in September. Unfortunately, what you want and what you get don't always match. I'm hoping that in the new year, I can stay healthy, train well, and go further and faster than I ever have in these ultras, while continuing to enjoy every moment out there.
